Blogging through pre reqs/nursing school?

So I'm wondering if anyone else had the same idea as me and decided to start a blog about their journey through the pre reqs and/or through nursing school? I'll be starting my second semester of pre reqs this fall and I started a blog because I thought it might help relieve stress or be a place I can vent and rant about things or give tips even, when I learn something. Ive always loved writing so i'm just wondering if there are any other student bloggers out there and if so, does it help/make a difference for you?

The frontpage of allnurses currently has some suggestions for youtube channels to follow. I love finding blogs and videos; it keeps me motivated and gives me confidence. At this point I haven't really made any friends at school and it makes me feel less alone too.

I'm thinking about making a youtube video to share my studying system. I have a previous degree and it took me a couple years to figure out a system that works well for me. Now that I'm back at school with a bunch of freshmen I see a lot of people struggling unnecessarily. I want to make a video to help new freshmen of any discipline, but especially pre-nursing.

I keep a tumblr but currently it's just about fitness and horses. Maybe I'll start a nursing one too.

There are some really good ones out there that I loved to follow when i was in school. If you have what it takes to engage people, I say go for it
