Applying to multiple schools

    Hello All!
I am currently working on my science courses at National University, and looking to apply to nursing programs soon. REALLY nervous. I really want to get in my first go around, so I am thinking about applying to 4 different schools, 1 bsn, 3 adn. How many have you guys applied to? What are some good tips on getting in the first round?

Hi Shel_lynn36, I'm considering going to National University to complete my science classes but tuition is expensive..... May i ask, how did you pay for your science classes? I thinking about either enrolling in their Pre nursing program to meet the requirements of an ADN program or paying for each class individually with loan money if I can.... if I take the Pre nursing program i will have all the classes that i need plus 3 extra classes that I don't need...... any advice? Oh and I'm an Lvn with 2 yrs experience

Yes it is expensive, it is 1400 plus lab is around 400? for the science courses, they are two months each, very accelerated. I personally have chosen to go there because it is so hard to get into the science classes you need at any other school, I've heard this from many people. But I personally like the accelerated pase, it keeps me on my toes and focused. Their other courses are 1 month long as just the 1400. I would say don't take an extra class if you don't need to, save the money! Just sign up for the classes you need for the pre nursing. There are actually many LVN's in my A/P class. That job experience will also help you out when applying to a program as well.
