Anatomy And Physiology

Hello everyone, just checkin in. Currently we are on Ch 2 which involves the chemistry portion of A&P and it's not the most likable part at all. However we have a test on Ch 1-2 on Wedn Feb 4 and I just got finished reorganizing and simplifying my notes from lecture so that they will be easier to study from. Lot's of memorization but I keep telling myslf that I can do it.

We are doing chap 1 and 2 simutaneoulsy since my class only meets 1 time per week. That chap 2 is rather boring isn't it? :chuckle I never did really like chem and it doesn't help that I am taking the pre-requisite chem at the same time. I dreamt about chem on monday night. I dreamt about a covalent bond. See, I got nothing out of chem the first time around. I was a slacker and I didnt' even open the book until the 3rd week of class which was way too late. This time around I am terrified to mess up so I started reading as soon as class ended.

Anyway, I woke up in the middle of the night sat straight up in bed and shouted:

"I finally understand what a covalent bond is! Co=2 valent= valencel! They share the valence electrons! How could I have been so DUMB!"

My bf was like: WHAT! :eek: :eek: ..what did something happen! And too think this is only the beginning. :chuckle

That is so funny! Don't you just love it when you dream about this stuff????? Ugh! Today in class we discussed protein synthesis. Well, actually the prof talked about it and we all sat dumbfounded. Sheesh... DNA, RNA, tRNA, mRNA... I've got a lot of reviewing to do!
