ADD medication while doing Pre-reqs

I was diagnosed with ADD at the age of 6, and having ADD has been a big challenge for me. I have not been on medication since I was around the age of 12 and now I am almost 28. I have a very hard time focusing in school and although I have managed good grades for the past two years I have decided to finally start taking my pre-reqs... I took BIO last semester and it was extremely difficult for me especially the memorizing. Are any of you taking any medication for ADD while doing pre-reqs? Does it help? I really hate the way ADD medication makes me feel, but I do remember when I was younger it really helped me focus and do better in school. Any advice?

Well were all different so our body's react different with medications and plus it depends on the med itself and dosage amount, but I don't ever take it either BUT when I DID I couldn't stay awake and I felt awful like that for a couple of days... My advice to you try it when you know that at least 3 days straight there are no quizzes or exams and see how you react to it...

That is a good idea. That would be awful if I took medication and it turned out really bad right before a test!! Just thinking about that makes me nervous!! haha
