I just took my TEAS v5 today and got an 80%. 86%-reading, 85%-math, 85%-science, 60%-english/lang usage. My gpa in sciences is about 3.3, overall gpa is the same. You could say im on the cusp of things and im pretty consistent at it. I'm worried i wont get into a BSN program. My first pick is cal state east bay and from other threads ive read, i dont think i'll get in. I dont know what to do. Can anyone just tell me what i should do? I feel like im drowning:cry:

I would study for the Teas more intensely and then retake it to improve your score. Check CSUEB's policy on the retaking of the teas...some schools have a required amount of time in between retakes.

I don't know what the admitted applicant statistics were for East Bay, but I don't think your stats are all that competitive for a BSN program. I didn't get in with a 3.25 cumulative, 3.75 science, and 86% TEAS at other CSUs (I didn't apply to East Bay). If I were you I would apply to several BSN programs and a few ADN programs. If you get into a BSN program then that's great, and if you don't then at least you have a back up plan. I didn't apply to an ADN program the first time and I got stuck waiting a semester because of that. Learn from my mistake. Don't give up! After you get an ADN there are many many RN-BSN programs and I hear a lot of it can be done online. It may not be the route you wanted to take, but at least it's an option.
