How many schools did everyone apply to? Right now I think I have 9 or 10 on the list of schools I'm most intersted in and I'm inclined to apply to all of them, hoping to get interviewed at 1 or 2...I'd love to hear everyone's experience...

I was going to apply to 8+ schools but narrowed it down to four with one more that had a later due date. It gets expensive quickly 25-50 dollar application fees, postage cost, transcripts fees to each school you attended. I averaged about 125$ per school. I think reference letters become an issue as well. I think my supervisor filled out 35 letters for about seven people in my unit. You can vary your references some but most schools want your supervisor.

I applied to four schools at one point I was wishing I had applied to more, but in the end.

I interviewed and not accepted at 2

Alternate at 1

Accepted 1

i applied to five. offered to interview at 2. interviewed at 1 so far. accepted. have not heard back from the rest of the schools.
