I like most as it sounds have some anxiety r/t taking the GRE. This is why I have found a few schools that I like that don't require the GRE. My question is do these schools expect people to have taken the GRE even though it's not required for them? Thanks

from what I understand they don't expect you to have taken it as they do not use it to figure it in their decisions...

The University of Iowa doesn't require the GRE

What CRNA schools do not require a GRE?

I would guess up to 30% of schools don't require the GRE, nor do they look at GRE scores. Look at the websites of schools and look at admissions requirements.

Go to AANA.com and look up accredited programs in all the states that you would consider attending. Then click on the link to the program home page provided at aana.com and check out the requirements. It's the easiest way. Southern Illinois University - Edwardsville and Barnes Jewish (both in St. Louis, MO area) do not require the GRE.

Cool, thnx you guys :), I am just gonna prepare and take it anyways...Midaswell while its still fresh :D

Where did you hear that Duke does not require a GRE? I looked all over their applicant pages and only saw mention that the GRE is required, no note on GPA affecting that requirement.

Also, I believe St. Raphael's in CT does not require a GRE, my coworker just got an interview there w/o one, he said anything over a 3.5 there gets you out of it.
