Any of you MHRI alternates out there?

I'm one , it's driving me coo-coo.:uhoh3:

How about CAMC, the "second pick" was the 21st of Feb.:crash_com

Anyone out ther know any of the above:confused:

I applied to CAMC and was told the final admissions committee met on Feb. 21st, but I haven't heard anything about final slots being filled. I was also told that over 600 applicants applied last year. Anyway, I'm also impatiently waiting.

600!!!!

Not feeling good about that.

Anyway I called them and :

The letters go out this week, good luck,

I think the selection process at this point is just that ,

luck.:banghead:

Specializes in ER/SICU.

Got mine certified from CAMC today YYYYYEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH

have not heard from camc yet a-l-m-o-s-t c-r-a-z-y !!!!!!!!!:uhoh3:

So basically after jumping through a million hoops of lost info etc.

CAMC doesn't want me , OH and they have arbitrarily changed their admission criteria of which I may or may not be "qualified for".

Skated off with my money too, nice trick.

Oh I can write a letter and be considered for next year, A WHOLE YEAR AWAY. But as I said If the admissions criteria are just all of the sudden changed, ????????

Too everyone that was accepted congratulations !

To everyone else , well , read your letter, you were qualified but since we don't bother to interview, and find out anything pertinent , stay home.:angryfire

I recieved my letter from CAMC on Tuesday.... HUGE disappointment, but I am going to try again in the Fall..... Honestly, I knew it was a long shot to be accepted for the May 06 class...but I really had my hopes up for an alternate status. Been a nurse for 9+ years. ICU 3 yrs. ER 6 years, ACLS instructor, Pals Instructor..... High GPA. GRE was only a 910...but min req was 860. GReat references.... I have a friend in the class now. Spoke to the school on Tuesday evening. They said go back to ICU... oh and by the way they increased the GRE min to 950...but the school states "you should really aim for the mid 1000s...????? Guess will try again.
