Anyone attended previous Nurse anesthesia school and withdrawn
No not the org., I am saying some of the (individual) "professionals" perpetuate the improper treatment of students. Just as in RN school. Few of the true professionals even try to nip this behavior, some do, many just say , well it was tough on us etc... I have read this in a book that some of the students are charged with reading however the title escapes me right now.

CRNA exam fail rate control
I'm glad some of you found this funny, as it was a serious question and the jeopardy of so-called MCR questions is not funny. Once again wtbcrna, thank you for a serious, pertinent, and timely answer including the link. Proper responses with well considered links to accurate information are most appreciated.

" can safely say that there is no other APN role with this reputation of treating students horribly AS A PART OF THE CULTURE." I totally agree with this statement. And the head organization perpetuates it. Completed my program (after being the Nth person to seek a legal protection) Now out of 25 people the 3 that live in a certain geographical area have yet to pass the exam after a combined 6 tries)(2 each) They even promote a publication for the students that reads, among other things that "Black, hispanic, and white over 40 are hard to teach and have to seriously be doubted in their sincerity to the profession" Some of the providers are very good, top notch, the remainder/organization are definitely a CULTure mentality.

Bullying by Professors in Nursing School
These aren't examples of Basic training, they are the Federal Gov'ts definition of hazing.

Bullying by Professors in Nursing School
I must certainly agree with those who say nursing is the most disrespectful "profession". My nursing program tried daily to intimidate, disrespect, condecend and bully students. It had nothing to do with knowledge and everything to do with power and narcissitic, sociopathic problem with the "culture". I must also add caution against anyone thinking of going to CRNA school, I am six figures in debt over 35 and have basically lost my entire future, not because of bad grades I passed my program with a good solid average, the problem lies in the exam that is now basically pay your money and guess which of 100 books we took the answer from. Multiple correct response questions that, mathematically are slanted toward failure, a published higher fail rate of 40+year old students, and a no review policy is ridiculous. Think long and hard before you go, The job(clinical experience) is wonderful: the process and the exam are not, it has been the biggest educational mistake I have ever made. If i am selected to pass the exam I will never treat students the way I have been treated.

Bullying by Professors in Nursing School
I could tell you the story of 20+ individuals that would make you want to never attend college again...
-
Bullying by Professors in Nursing School
The "rant" happened. The organization perpetuates profiling, discrimination, and mathematical manipulation of pass/ employment rates
-
Bullying by Professors in Nursing School
The bullying is being perpetuated by the adaptive testing and by certain "boards" . Their own publications denounces certain age groups and even racial groups as unfit.

CCNA EXAM
Prodigy didn't help it said I had a 95% chance of passing failed it twice. Valley the book seems to be exactly what is NOT on the test. R&R well maybe? The biggest problem is the MCR questions, they are unfair and unrepresentative of the examinee's knowledge base. for example: TT1 - has 100 questions w/ no MCRs = 100 answers TT2 - has 100 questions w 10 MCRs(pick 3) = 120 answers for same grade of 100. TT3 - entire 170 question exam w/ 10% MCRs = 204 answers for same 100 grade. TT4 - the absolute minimum questions 100-30(tryouts) = 70 answers Fair testing ? you decide

Any online CRNA programs?
There are no online programs.

ADN or BSN to become a CRNA
Keep in mind it's gonna cost 100,000 + and come down to one test of 100 ish questions if you don't pass it (the "new" test format has increased the fail rate 4x) you still owe the money and make 3 times less.
-
CRNA Board Pass Rates?
Simply the most biased "test" ever. New Multiple correct answer format is ridiculous for example there are (at least)100 questions 30 "tryouts" that don't count. Your exam is "adaptive" which means biased against your demographic in my opinion. If you have 10 MCRs then you have not had 70 countable questions you have had 90 so if someone else has 70 countable questions and no MCRs they only had 70. so for the same test you had to get 63 correct they only had to get 49 correct, It also means you could get 81 of the 90 correct and still only get credit for 71(and still fail), how is that not biased ? 2-3 years pass 100's of test, spend over 100,000 dollars and not be a CRNA because of 1 test that doesn't test all areas. Yep that's fair.

Mountain State University CRNA. Anybody attending or know anything about?
Distance learning is not the problem, poor execution of the program and the poor attitude of CRNAs toward students in general is the problem. The CULTure of nurse/anesthesia of "make it tough on them because it was tough on me " is asinine. STAY AWAY from this vindictive, harassing school or get a lawyer early. And expect to be gone from home for over a year and pay 200,000 to do it !
