  1. CVICU RN - I feel your pain! My husband is working on his PhD which is unfortunately 4 hrs away from the CRNA I was accepted. Needless to say we would have to live a part...I was heart broken and didn't know what to do. I think long distance relationships are possible...dificult, but possible. I think you need to know what kind of relationship the two of you have....do you need to see eachother, be around each other in order to function? If so, then maybe long distance won't work for you. I don't think theres anything either one of you can do (unless one of you wants to give up your CRNA spot in hopes of getting into a program closer to your significant other next year). One thing I do feel I need to mention is that I wish I would have finished school prior to getting married. Relationships are a committment, especially when it comes to making a marriage work. I guess I never ended up telling you what I decided on doing....call it co-dependency or whatever, but I function better when my husband is around. So, I accepted another offer (which was not made to me when the school thats 4hrs away accepted me) which is only 2 hrs away. I knew that if i accpeted and went to the school that was 4hrs away, I would constantly be thinking about my husband; wondering what he was doing; how his day was; etc. But thats just how we are...clingy, I guess. I know this info probably does you no use, however know that if two people want a relationship to work, with effort, honesty, and understanding, it will. It will be difficult, but keep thinking that this too shall pass. BB
  2. I am interested in starting this thread in order to connect with fellow CRNA students as well as get to know students from other programs - so that we may all share in the bumpy road we are about to partake... I will be attending University of Scranton CRNA program starting Fall 2010! I am taking courses starting here soon in order to lighten my load when fall rolls around. Hope to meet some fellow students, BB
  3. Anyone know where I can find info about CRNA board pass rates on first attempts? I know I can get in touch with the individual schools, however was looking for some sort of website. Thx BB
  4. Gluck - You responded to one of my posts about Memorial. However I am unable to get in contact with you. I am still needing guidance...any info about the program would be helpful! Thanks, BB
