Hi! Is there anyone applying to this program for the May 2017 start date? Or is there anyone currently in this program? I'm finishing up my letter of intent for the program and was wondering if there was anyone else looking into this program! :)

I just graduated! It's demanding and difficult. You will most likely cry at some point. The faculty can be difficult and frustrating. You will make it though. Good Luck!

OMG! First and foremost, congratulations!!! What an amazing accomplishment! Thanks so much for your input! Although I haven't been accepted yet, I'm incredibly nervous! But excited at the same time haha. What would you say was the most difficult/challenging about the program? What was the most enjoyable? Did you work while in the program? Gosh, I feel like I have so many questions but can't seem to figure out where to start asking! Lol!

Thank you you so much for your encouragement!!

It can be disorganized and what one faculty member accepts others won't. Finding your clinical placement is very stressful. It takes most folks 4 years instead of 3. The most enjoyable part was graduating. I worked the 1st 2 years. This was single handedly the hardest thing I've ever done.

I just received my acceptance letter to start in the Spring, January 2017. This is a giant step for me but necessary for career progression. At this moment, I am excited and afraid intermittently. Good Luck!

Hi, congratulations!!! I got accepted as well! I was originally going to start in January 2017 but I had to move my start date to the May class because I am in the loan process of a new home. Like you, I am excited and afraid! LOL! If you'd like, we can keep in touch on Facebook if you have an account there. Just let me know!

Congrats to both of you on your acceptances. I inquired about the program last month. Thinking about applying next years as I have just graduated and will start my first job next week.

I just sent in my application materials today. Hoping to be accepted into the May 2017 cohort. Next step: the dreaded interview.

Hi, Sammyk06! I got accepted for the May 2017 start date! I originally applied and interviewed for the January 2017 start date but am in the process of building a house and am unable to start in January, so I was able to move into the May cohort. My interview was done via FaceTime and the professor that interviewed me was very easy to talk to and very kind. I'm sure you will do well! If you have any questions about the process, let me know! :)

Any interview tips would be very helpful. It is soothing to hear the interview process is more laid back. I am happy that you were accepted. It is a big step in professional progression. Are you sticking to the three year plan? I am hoping to work during the program so I will probably go for the four year route. Thank you for reaching out to me :)

For the interview process, they asked very basic questions like where you are practicing now, what you would like to do/where you'd like to practice after completion of the degree, etc. She also asked me why I chose Loyola instead of other schools. It was a very easy going interview. My nervousness and anxiety went away within minutes! Lol! She also gave me some really good insight into the program and based on what I told her about myself and current practice, where I would most likely find myself really liking to practice in the long run.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you!

Btw, I'm from Texas. What about you?

I am from Minnesota. Neither of us are close to Louisana. I am hoping hotels aren't too spends for orientation and other campus requirements. Thank you for the support! I am excited to begin a program.
