Duke ABSN Spring 2010, anyone?

My heart sunk when I read that they discontinued the reimbursement policy! No one can actually confirm that that's true, right? I'm happy to hear that they promoted that policy at the latest Duke Days. That leads me to believe that it's still around for the time being.

I'm applying for Fall 2010 and I hope the policy is still around by then! While I love the program, the campus, and the whole triangle area, I have to admit the reimbursement policy is the reason why Duke is my number one choice!

I called today to see if I should send my summer transcripts or wait on the admissions decision and they said to wait because the committee is meeting today and should be letting people know this week. So nervous....

Hello! I have also applied to the Spring 2010 ASBN program. My interview was July 10th. The waiting has been SO stressful. I just want to know already. But thank you for letting us know that they are meeting today and will have a decision this week. I figured it would be this week, since they said the first week in August. Does anyone know how they will let us know?? Phone, email, or letter??? Well good luck to everyone. Hope I get good news this week!

I got the good news today, too. Congratulations to all of you!

Yay! I am so excited that people are starting to find out about acceptance. I will also be joining you all at Duke this Spring! Congratulations to everyone...maybe we should start a new blog about housing, preparation, etc.?

I think that would be good. There is a Yahoo group for accepted students (those that have accepted the offer) but it is a little confusing since the Fall class is also in it. I wonder if we would be allowed to start a Facebook group to start getting faces and names together. Congrats! I am really excited for the Spring. I am praying everything works out with my Fin. Aid.

Does anyone have an idea when classes begin for the Spring 2010 cohort? Beginning, middle, or end of January?
