I know that both the University of North Carolina and Duke University Medical Center have in the past, although can’t confirm that either is presently doing so.

Also, just FYI when people say apply early...apply EARLY! I am starting a job in a week and a half in the NICU at Children's National in DC (also have new grads in PICU). I applied in December, was hired at my interview in January, graduated in May and passed my boards in July...I start orientation Aug 24th (8 months after applying). Good Luck!

Hey! PICU at UNC Children's Hospitals hires new grads, but most of them have worked in the unit as an NA or HUC. Not all, but most. Good luck!
