Specialties PICU

I GOT THE JOB IN THE PICU MY INTERVIEW LASTED FOR TWO HOURS. I start in about three weeks I am so excited I hope my experience in the PICU will be just as rewarding as it was in my LPN career. I feel pretty lucky to be accepted in the PICU being a new grad and all. I am kinda scared but I know I will like it. The hospital I will be working for is very nice. I would appreciate any suggestions or tips on how to make my life a lil better to adjust to the PICU atmosphere.....Thanks in advance ......:roll :nurse:

Congrats to you! Lots of luck and hope all goes well!

You GO girl!!! Congratulations!!

It's been a couple months now, how's it going?! Heather

(not yet a student nurse)

Congrates on your new job..... How are you liking it so far:nurse:

Congratulations on your New Job!! :p I was wondering with a

2 hour interview like you had, how many people did you meet with? And, how many interviews did you have for that job? Would you mind sharing the pay offered and your amount of exp, etc. I am interested in Pediatric Nursing myself and am trying to learn a lot about the profession. I look forward to hearing back from you here or if you like, you may PM me. Thank You, April

Great to hear your good news! Im also in the Chicago area, what hospital were you hired at? I agree that we have a good variety of hospitals here! =)
