I've applied and am curious if anyone else on here is applying for Spring 2011. Good luck!

Hello!!

Yes i applied for the spring of 2011 and I have an interview next wednesday! have you heard anything yet?

Congratulations! I have an interview on Monday. I'm very excited!! Jefferson's my top choice at this point. I really wanted to go to NYU, but their tuition is ridiculous! Jefferson has a great reputation and is in a fantastic location, so I'm really excited. Good luck to you! :-)

awesome!!! let me know how your interview goes on Monday if you dont mind! yes NYU is super expensive, but their deadline isnt till march, so I figure if I dont get in at Thomas Jefferson or then ill give NYU a shot!

Good luck tomorrow :)))

Hi,

When did you turned in your application? I did mine Sep. 10.

They received all my materials September 2nd. I found out about my interview sept. 7th.

I applied on August 23rd 2010 for the Spring 2011 start date and I recieved an invitation for an interview on September 9th. I live in North Carolina and I drove up there last week and stayed the night and looked around the city and all. I think the interview went well, Niki was incredibly nice and laid back and down to earth. The one thing she said that made me not so nervous was " I hate calling this an interview because it is really a way for me to get to know you". But at the end she said she would let me know in a week or two, so needless to say I am nervous and anxious to hear back from her. Has anyone had an interview or heard back if they got in?

Congrats AKalaskabound!! :)

If you dont mind me asking, where did you get your undergrad degree and what was ur GPA? I have my interview this wednesday and I am incredibly nervous!! It seems like I cant focus on anything. lol. But I attended an open house back in June and met Niki and I remember her saying that theres like 400 apps for 100 spots. YIKES! But hey an interview is the first step! Hope you hear something soon!!!

I got my undergrad at Fayetteville State University and my GPA was a 3.9 from there. I was pretty nervous too but I tried to prepare myself as much as possible. It wasn't bad once in there because the way she presented the questions it was more like a conversation. I did a tour afterward and that school is awesome, it is set up very differently than what I am used to, but I like it. Niki told me in the interview that when she is looking at the applicants if someone has a lower GPA but is really personable and easy to talk to (if face with patients) she would take them over someone with a 4.0 and couldn't talk to a brick wall. I wonder if she interviews everyone that applies, if so that is a lot of people to talk too? Congrats on your interview, I am sure you will do well! Hopefully we will see each other next year!:yeah:

Thank you!! I will let you know how it goes on wednesday!!

Hey all!

I had my interview today and will second that Niki was super nice and easy to talk with. She also gives a lot of information about the program that I hadn't read on here, so that's useful too. The location of the school is great.

My guess is that they don't interview everyone, since that would be too time consuming. And if someone doesn't have much of a chance at gaining acceptance just from previous academic performance (or lousy recommendations), they probably won't offer that person an interview. Anyway, good luck on Wednesday, schick! I think you'll be great! :-)

Good luck to you too, AK!

Chris,

I applied Sept 1 and mailed everything Sept 2. I was invited for an interview last Thurs (Sept 9). Good luck!!
