Hi all, I'm new to this site (just joined today). But I've been lurking for a few weeks. I'm applying for the Aria Health SON and would love to meet others who are applying for the September 2012 academic year.

Hey Holly, she did say she will test from the book, but there's soo much info from the chapters, that the power points must be useful for the quizzes! Also, they will be online, right? I looked and the quiz isn't posted yet, I'm guessing we will have til Friday to do it? Hope they aren't too hard!!

K so I've been meaning to ask everyone this question all week but totally forgot lol. I hope I get some replies!
Which nursing diagnosis book did everyone get or will be getting?
The recommended one through the school or the other one that the older students seem to like better?

Can you send me both titles & info please...
The book that the school suggests: Nursing Diagnosis Manual: Planning, Individualizing, and Documenting Client Care
by Marilynn E. Doenges (Paperback)
And this is the link to the other book from bumblebee: Amazon.com: Nursing Care Plans: Diagnoses, Interventions, and Outcomes, 7e (9780323065375): Meg Gulanick, Judith L. Myers: Books
(See page 49 I believe for the info and where I got these from)

Yes i loved my red book and so did many others. get whatever book YOU WANT. check out book stores like barnes & nobles and see what ones u like. The problem is that you are just learning the nursing process so its kinda hard to realize what is a good book vs. not so good.
Thank you! I went with the one that the school recommended because they keep talking about that specific one. I'm pretty sure I have another book similar to this from a friend who recently finished the program, so I'm hoping I can reference to that if I need to.
