Looking for some numbers, NHPPD or nurse patient ratios. It may vary greatly, depending on the type of unit. My hospital is a community one(located just outside a major city), 15 bed peds unit, teaching hospital, peds hospitalists are in attending. Our acuity can vary, mostly with the seasons: summer brings elective surgeries, traumas. Winter and spring: RSV, rota virus, RAD etc.

Please include any ancillary help you have too (secretary, techs etc.)
