What to expect on the NHA PCT certification exam - Please help

Nursing Students Technicians

Hello everyone!

I'm 21 and I have graduated from the PCT program offered at ABC Training Center (The Bronx, New York), I've been searching on here and I see some people here are familiar with the school. Well anyway... Obviously I've had no luck finding a job with nothing but my certificate of completion from school, I have been a little nervous to go for the certification exam but I went and signed up for it, my test is this Friday!!!!

I have been reviewing at home for the past month, I emphasized on studying my EKG book as I feel that this area may show up a lot on the test, I know that with just a quick read through my patient care book and notes I'll be fine on that part since it's mostly lots of common sense.

I am afraid of what type of questions are asked on the test though, I haven't grasped all the medical terminology or names of conditions and illnesses all too well, I fear that the test is based mostly on this rather than on procedures which is what I've been reviewing most of.

Maybe I'm just nervous and the test is not as bad as I think it'll be, what I do know is that I really need my certification, I would be devastated if I failed!

Any advice? Test experience?
