china-made swine flu vaccine protects after one shot (update1)

aug. 18 (bloomberg) -- swine flu vaccine made in china by sinovac biotech co. is safe and protects people against the pandemic virus after a single shot, according to its developer.

studies showed the inoculation met "international criteria for vaccines" and caused no severe adverse reactions in any of the 1,614 volunteers who received it, sinovac said in an e- mailed statement today. it didn't give details about the efficacy of differing doses or vaccination methods used.

the results are the first reported anywhere in the world on a vaccine to fight the new h1n1 strain that's sparked the first influenza pandemic in 41 years, said beijing-based sinovac, which was created in 2001 to make immunizations for hepatitis. the company is compiling data on the flu shot as soon as possible before seeking regulatory approval for it in china.

Novartis isn't any better if you know about what happened to the 25 homeless people who were killed by there trials

Remember that stuff about being an advocate for the Pt. Well heres your chance Nurses of America. I dont remember lectures about being an advocate for the cutburn poision corporatocracy in power today.

"What makes you think you will have a choice as to where the vaccine you receive comes from? Will you be able to check the packaging yourself? It could have an american label on it but was made in China, like many other products here. If the U.S. government feels pressured to have more vaccines than it currently is planned to have than why wouldn't they get some from China? (Without bothering to let the U.S. people know or have a choice)."

Umm the FDA? All vaccines are extensively labled. We do have laws here.

The Swine Flu Vaccination was patented in 2003 by Novartis. The swine flu virus was described as being "Man-Made" including spliced DNA from the bird flu viruses, human flu viruses, and several diffrent swine flu viruses. And most recently 8/13/09 Novartis has launched a legal action against Glaxo Smith Kline claiming that it is infringing one of its patents. That makes me want to ask questions... will I be refusing any and all flu vaccinations this year, and I question if I should administer Flu vaccinations to my Patients.

Lets talk about unregistered clinical trials on humans... on Citizens of the United States...

-A Congressional subcommittee hearing in Washington, DC on September 28, 1994 revealed that up to

500,000 Americans were endangered by secret defense-related tests between 1940 and 1974 --

including covert experiments with radioactive materials, mustard gas, LSD, and biological agents. For

example, between 1949 and 1969, the Army released radioactive compounds in 239 cities to study the

effects, according to General Accounting Office testimony the hearings.

-In 1932 the United States Public Health Service (PHASE), in cooperation with the Tuskegee Institute,

initiated a study in Macon County, Alabama to determine the effects of untreated syphilis. The study

would last until 1970 and follow 399 black men diagnosed with syphilis.

In order to ensure that they would not be treated, which became increasingly difficult with the

discovery and widespread use of penicillin after 1943, local physicians, draft boards and PHS venereal

disease eradication programs were given a list of the "subjects." The men, the most educated of whom completed 7th grade, were told they were being treated for "bad blood," a term the white doctors claimed was a synonym for syphilis in the black community.

Really? Are you kidding? Wow you have a lot of faith in an organization that doesn't have the most pristine track record on safety and, by their own admission, under the gun to get a vaccine ready by a deadline that many people feel is unrealistic. Not enough time for adult testing, much less, testing on children.

How many posts have I read on other threads about nurses being told to administer vaccines that they are not even drawing up themselves, much less have labels on. Maybe you will be able to check the label first. Suppose it is from China, or packaged under an American manufacturer but still from China. TPTB have already said that many schools will not announce incidents of swine flu in their schools so as to not panic parents. TPTB could also decide that people might not want a vaccine from China, and "for their own good", not tell citizens. Who knows what the government might decide( in what they deem a crises situation) to do.

The statement "We do have laws here", will not necesarily apply during certain emergency situations.

The FDA could even say that the swine flu vaccines from China are safe. Would that be good enough for you?

If so, you have no worries.

:nurse: I live in Connecticut and the state had a pretty big outbreak this summer especially on the sub base where we live. They don't even test anyone when they come in with the symptoms after the 15th confirmed case. In early July I and my kids all got what the doctors think was the H1N1 virus and it scared me. I hope I did have it and it wasn't something else because we are generally healthy and I myself couldn't even get out of bed to see a doctor. A few weeks later I ended up with Pneumonia. If that happened to me what is this mutated strain going to do and will the vaccine cover the population. Its a scary thought especially if you read that article last week or a few weeks ago about the first nurse who died from the H1N1 virus.

This will be a scary flu season all around.
