Thought it would be nice to start a new thread for those of us who are applying this time around and to be able to support each other!

@RNPO The 4th floor!! What other floors were hiring??

When did you do your interview for the 4th floor? I know the 6th floor did some on 7/16. I know it takes time to do background checks so maybe those calls will be later? Congrats, by the way!!

I interviewed on the 16th as well! What unit is on the 6th floor?? Yeah background checks do take time and there is still time for calls!!

@ORJH4 So you had your second interview on 7/16 and the call you mentioned was your job offer?

I'm guessing that means all of us who haven't received calls for second interviews are officially out? :(

Well that stinks for us but congratulations to you, it really does seem like an amazing program. Best of luck in your nursing career, you're off to a great start :)

It doesn't mean we're officially out! The form they gave us at the pre-screening interview says offers will be extended July 29th- August 6th. I'm feeling a little defeated at this point too, but try to stay positive until you hear otherwise!

I'm sure if you made it to the second interview, you must be an excellent candidate and you will have a bright future ahead regardless of whether you get this particular spot :)

An email has now gone out about an information meeting for those selected for the program. It sounds like this is going to be a larger group (nearing 50?). Given that I didn't hear an exact number it is possible they will still give out an offer or two this week.

Just heard that some managers are still in the final stages if choosing their candidates. It may be another week, so there are still offers to be given... Good luck!!
