I haven't seen a thread for this cycle so if one already exists, please direct me to it!

Anyone here apply and get invited to the first round interview on November 16th?

I haven't seen one either. I applied and will be going to the interview day thing on the 16th. What will you be interviewing for? I'm doing L&D.

I'll be there. Im flying in from out of state. From everything I've read its a long shot and a bit of luck to get selected to go on after round 1 so I'm treating it like a mini vacation before exams!

Same here. I'm flying up from the LA area because literally 90% of my friends have moved to Portland in the last 5 years so it's also a mini-vacation.

The format sounds kinda crazy! I would really like Women's Health but I know that's gonna be one of the most competitive sports so I'm also preparing for a few different units.

I'm flying in as well... a small vacation after the interview for passing the NCLEX. I'm hoping for ICU...then ER as a close second.

I was a bit confused by the interview instructions...so we pick what department and facility we approach first, second, and third?

That's my understanding. I can't tell from previous application threads whether they have done it that way in the past. The email said 1 hour to interview with as many department managers as we can.

Thanks, good to know we read it the same. Interesting. I have this vision of everyone rushing the same person...Seems chaotic but certainly different.

I'm flying in from out of state as well. My first choice was NICU, but they have removed NICU as a choice. When I talked to the recruiter about it, she pretty much said we have an hour to meet with our top 3 choices of units and if you have extra time you can network or interview with others as well. At least that was my understanding.

That was a wild ride

YES IT WAS. What time did you interview? I was in the 8:30 group.

I was in the 8:30 group as well. It was more people than I was expecting in one group. Wonder how quick they'll be about call backs

I was also 830 group. I just hope they remember me...great interviews but going first is a disadvantage.
