Nursing Students School Programs

I am worried that I may not get in the nursing program because of my pre-req grades. I am currently in lifespan development and intro to nursing. I am unsure if I should have a plan B and I do not know what my plan B should be. Can someone please give me some advice?

Your grades look good to me, especially if your apply to the traditional program. I know its getting more competitive though. I am also applying to the traditional nursing program. Do you mind asking you what your SAT critical reading score was? That's what worries me since my CR score does not meet the minimum of 470.

My SAT did not meet the minimum requirement and I ended up taking the ACT because it was cheaper; I scored a 20 on the English portion and the minimum requirement is 19 in English.

Everyone tells me not to worry but sometimes it does get to me because I do not have a plan B but thank you and good luck to you as well.

I should have done that. Its too late now. I'm just turning in the sat scores that I have. I can only hope for the best cause I also don't have a Plan B. When is your intro class? I'm also in the intro class , mines on Wednesday 11-12:50

My intro to nursing is the same time as yours and my lab class is 1-2:50. I need to check on my application just to be sure they did not misplace it because I turned in my application in the beginning of December.

Hey girls! I am also applying to the traditional program. I'm so nervous too. I wish we knew already. Anyway do you know of people get in with retakes? My gpa is like a 3.45 my SAT scores are a 550 and all my grades are A or B except for my anatomy. I took anatomy at Uncg and made a C- and then I transferred and retook it at WSSU. So I now have a retake. Have y'all heard anything about retakes or know anyone that got in or didn't with retakes?

I personally do not know of anyone who has gotten in with retakes but I do know that people who have not taken retakes and recieved a C or better in the course are priority.

I knew someone that got in with a C- for the class of 17, my current class. Y'all will probably find out if you got in this week, and just remember you have to pass intro too, if you get accepted but make less than a C you will get booted. Good luck guys!
