WOW!!! Wrong notification from Wayne State University.

Wow!!! I just got an email from WSU and almost had a heart attack.

They were just reminding me that my application was complete. However, if I needed to get any more document into them...now was the time to do it, before June 1 2014, their deadline.

They also informed me that notifications were going out in the first part of June 2014, so make sure that you check your application status box.(as if I haven't been checking that everyday for over three month...now!!!!)

Now you see....I know that was just a genetic email letter...however, if they knew my application was complete why send out the teaser email letter.

At my last information session...they gave numbers in the 580's down from 1500 from 3 years ago.

They will only take 55 applicants and they are chosen by GPA only, for the Second Degree accelerated BSN program, which I am applying for.

I am pretty comfortable with my GPA...I am just wondering...do they have enough slots for all of the high GPA.s candidates. I don't wish to be denied because there were too many 4.0 GPA...that would suck!!!!!

I'M IN...AND 3 MORE...was notified on June 11, 2014, for the last one. I am now trying to decide for cost, distance, and time in school. I accepted from all to hold my place, but have to pick by July 1, 2014. 3 start in Fall 2014, and 2 winter 2015. 2 are for 12 months 2 are 16 months and 1 is 18 months, and all are 2nd degree acelerated BSN programs.

What shall I do??????????????????????????

Wooooooooo!!!!!!! Oooo, decisions, decisions. I say go for one that starts in Fall (that way we'll start at the same time, haha). Maybe call some hospitals in the area and see what school they recommend?

Great ideal...but unfortunately the schools that start in the Fall cost the most, the top schools and 2 are to far on gas. Where I save money in tuition I lose in gas money and name sake(school), and they are the ones that are 16 months.

That would be great that we can go on this journey together...however, I guess I didn't look at the whole picture until now. In all the applications I spent over $400 dollars to get accepted, I guess that was a loss, when one gets into all of them at the same time?????????

The hospitals around here respect all of these schools...that is why it is so hard to get into them.

Did you make it into the school that you wanted to start in this Fall. Let me hear from you!!!!!!

I chose Wayne State University...7weeks down 7 1/2 weeks to go for my first semester in the second degree accelerated BSN nursing program.

Allnurse website messed up my password for the last couple of months...I could not get onto the site. However, Today out of the blue, they send me a "We miss you"...email...asking me to come back...Oh well, that was nice of them.
