WGU Prelicensure Dallas Cohort July 2017

Nursing Students School Programs

Published

Hey all,

Just wondering if anyone has applied to or been accepted already to the July 2017 Cohort in Dallas.

I'm in the process of "withdrawing" from my first program (elementry ed, I was too nervous about applying to nursing schools and psyched myself out, went with my "second option." I was miserable.) and re-entering as a pre-nursing prelicensure hopeful... my current term ends April 30th, and it takes 4-6 weeks after that to be approved for re-entry. But I was told by the enrollment counselor who contacted me that I may be able to be accepted for the July cohort if I finish my application in May. I'm thinking that's a little off, usually they'll accept people months in advance, right? I guess it doesn't really matter, I would be happy to apply for the next cohort too but she said it's possible for July so we'll see. If I don't get accepted to the July cohort I think I'll do the phlebotomy course at Brookhaven over the summer so I can get a bit more experience and some skills.

Curious to know what kind of stats everyone has too!

Science GPA: 3.57
