Vanderbilt MSN Direct Entry

Nursing Students School Programs

Published

I am applying to Vanderbilt's direct entry MSN program for neonatal NP next year and am wondering if anyone can give insight into if my application has a chance. I am graduating a year early from Marquette University with a degree in psychology. I volunteer in the NICU and will have done so for about a year and a half by the time I apply. I was a CNA for about 6 months. What concerns me the most is that my GPA is only a 3.0. Most people seem to have at least a 3.3 and I'm worried I'm going into it thinking I have a chance when I really don't. I haven't taken the GRE yet but will be doing so. What can I do to make my application stronger?? Anything helps!!!
