I really didn't want to be this person. Meaning the one who makes/follows a blog for the cohort they're applying for. Only because I'm usually a carefree person and I know this will only cause anxiety.

Anyways, we're about a month away from the deadline, how exciting!

Good luck to all of those applying. :)

I can't post my full points yet, since I'm still a week away from taking the HESI, but if anyone would like to share their points, please do. Also, if anyone wants to provide any tips for the HESI, that would be great as well.

I called and scheduled a signing session today and wanted to share some information with those who may have procrastinated, like myself. There are 5 days left with spots available: June 4th, June 18th, June 19th, June 25th and June 26th and majority of these only have 2 spots available. So, if you have not yet done so, definitely call and schedule your appointment.

I look forward to getting to know those applying and hopefully starting a new journey with you guys come Fall. :)

I'm really anxious and looking forward to this whole application process! The HESI wasn't too bad. I know while studying, I was extremely worried about the A&P section. However, it actually turned out to be very general information. The math portion was mostly fractions, decimals, and some conversions. If you have the review book, I would recommend doing the practice tests. I found them to be very helpful, and the questions were similar (if not a little bit harder) to what you would see on the actual exam. Take your time and read through the questions carefully. You can choose which test you want to take first (reading, grammar, math, or A&P). Your score will show up right after each test. Good luck to you!

Thanks so much. I do have the review book, so I'll make sure to do the practice tests as well. I'm excited to get it over with and figure out my points. I also scheduled it with enough time to retake if I'm truly unhappy with the score. So I'll figure it out.

Are you applying to any other schools or just UNLV?

Oh good! At least you thought it through and made time just in case you aren't happy with your score. I'm only applying to UNLV. I have 96 points, so I'm hoping that's enough to get me in!

Thanks for posting this!

96 is a really high score. I am sure you will make it in, lv1327. I look forward to hearing your results as well, blah3. I have a few questions for you both in preparation for my hesi test.

How much time is allotted for the hesi or each section?

Are you able to use a calculator for the test?

I hope so, hellohello1! If I remember correctly, you get four hours for the entire test. The calculator is on the computer (if that made any sense).

Hey guys,

My signing session is on Friday!:) I have 90.2 points, and know a couple people who got accepted last semester with 88 and 89 points. My HESI score was 86 and I have all A's on first attempt, except a B in Math and AP1 first attempt. I was invited to an interview at Roseman, but did not attend because I really don't want to go to that school and have heard many negative things about it. Anyway, Hope we all get in!! Good Luck! Hope to see you guys in the fall.

Oh, my tips for the HESI, I only really studied for the AP section. I felt that the questions were pretty broad, but a few were just facts you needed to know. I got 100 on the math section, it was mostly fractions and percetanges. Overall I thought it was pretty easy, but I compared it to the PCAT that I had to take, and that test was suuuuuper hard lol.

I have my signing session on Friday as well! I have a friend going to Roseman. I think his only complaint was the tuition prices!

Hey everyone! So i am new to this website and literally just took my Hesi a couple hours ago! I was hoping to do better than i did, but i passed with decent scores. My overall points come out to 88.8. I know this score is low, but does anything think i may have a shot for the Fall 2015 without retaking the hesi?

Your overall score on HESI doesn't really matter that much, it's your point total from the admission worksheet. Have you done that yet to see how many points you have?

Yeah my overall points are 88.8
