I am posting this topic to discuss / meet people who will be submitting their application for the Fall 2017 UIW nursing program. We can talk about TEAS scores, GPA's, withdrawels, etc. And if we get accepted, now we know who we can study with during the program :) can't wait for some responses!

Hi! I've been on and off of this site waiting for someone to start a thread! It's just you and me I suppose! Just finished all of the application processes, doing things a bit last minute, life got in the way. Have a 3.1 math and science GPA and my last TEAS got an 80, have to retake the TEAS because it's been more than 6 months, so next week is when I will get that done. Very nervous because I'm doing everything last minute but all I can do is hope! Hopefully more people find this thread so we can all chat!

Hi there alexissoccer123! I actually just turned in my nursingcas app yesterday! It was a bit of a relief but its still really nerve racking lol. My overall gpa is a 3.3, my science gpa is a 3.42 but I still have not completed chem 2 or micro. I'm doing it this semester :( My TEAS score was an 80.7 so hopefully I get in! But I am sure you will do even better on your TEAS & will get in for the Fall! Good luck on your TEAS :)

I'm super nervous about my application. Now we have to wait for about 2 months for letters.

Hello.

I applied to UIW and UTHSC this week and I'm super nervous. I wasn't to happy with my TEAS scores overall was a 77% 😳 The math & reading was fine. But science was my toughest and the english portion caught me off guard! My gpa is a 3.7 and science is a 3.4. Do you guys know if anyone has been accepted with such low TEA scores?? I just took my TEAS this past Friday and have been feeling a little bummed. I'm just praying really hard about it!

I have heard people getting in with 60 somethings on their teas.

Hey guys! I am also applying for the Fall 2017 BSN program at UIW. Has anyone heard anything yet? I'm nervous my stats aren't too good.

Overall GPA: 3.2

Science GPA: 2.7 :/

Overall TEAS: 72.0

I have been accepted to Texas Tech BSN program! However, if I get into UIW I will decline Texas Tech, because I would rather not move if I don't have to. I also applied to Baptist and SAC. I am on the waitlist for Baptist, and I haven't heard anything from SAC yet.
