Nursing Students School Programs

is there anyone out there applying to St Paul school of nursing in the spring 2017 or fall 2017 in queens New York

Oh ok thanks! So are you planning to apply for Fall 2017?

The order for me was:

1. Info Session

2. Wonderlic

3. Application (I gave mine in same day after I took Wonderlic [filled it out just in case I passed, did, and so I had it ready to avoid having to come back just to hand it in]; but they might give you an appointment to return application, depends on if they are already booked with students who had appointments that day)

4. Schedule the days for HESI tutoring (I took 3: Reading by itself, Math by itself (the thorough day: Thursday night), and Reading/Math together [on a Friday]; and for the HESI test (scheduled all in one shot, so I had all my dates, and just showed up)

5. Once you pass HESI, got all my req'd docs in asap. I asked what docs are needed the day I gave my application in so I was super prepared believing for the best, I did get all proofs of my immunizations, prepped for all transcripts to be given, had my BLS up to date and any other certifications, so all went smoothly once I passed HESI because I gave everything in at once.

6. Interviewed

7. Waited for acceptance letter (approx. 2-3 wks later).

Hope this helps!

Hi ladies, i have been following this forum as i am interested in this nursing program. When going for the information session, do you take the wonderlic test that same day? Or do they give you a date?

Yes I'm studying for the HESI now on Monday I take one of there review classes

Yes it does help, thank you! I go in on Wednesday for the information session so I'll see how that goes

Did anyone get an acceptance call yet for September session or is it too early lol ? How long does it usually take to get called for a interview with the president ? Also for all that were accepted, did everyone have to go through a interview or did some of you just get calls that you were accepted ?

Look up wonderlic test just to get an idea of what the test looks like. I found a site and practiced on it it helped with my timing in the test.

Hi all! 1st assignment up! Yeah, let's get it! Nurses week rock!

Where do you see the assignments posted ?

@Ladiikay Since we don't have the syllabus yet, our NUR100 teacher gave it to us in an email...

You attend the SI or queens campus?

Im curious, do they contact the people who give you letters of recommendation? Did they contacy any of the people who gave any of you letters of rec?

They didn't say"references would be checked" but it's better to be safe than sorry. Its better to make sure the recommendation letter you give is solid and true.
