Wanted to start a blog on anyone trying for the Spring 2014 ADN program at San Jacinto. Going to take my first HESI A2 test on Aug. 28 and I am a little nervous. Hope I do well. I am still trying to get everything together so that I can turn in but all these injections and titters are driving me crazy. Has anyone else taken the HESI yet? any pointer you can give me?

yeah, I just got out of class, and still nothing here, but still refreshing. lol. I just wish they would give us a definite date so that way I quit stressing over it lol.

Hello everyone! I am in the program and will be graduating May 2014. Just wanted to let you know that after the application period closed for us, it took close to a month for us to hear whether or not we were accepted. Now it might not be as long for you guys but it does take some time for them. Also, we just got a new nursing dept admin and i am guessing she is not use to doing this unlike our old one. that is true about the one month, although I will say that the deadline was November 14th, and IF accepted the orientation will b December 16th, which is one month away. And I doubt they will only give you 2 days notice of a mandatory orientation. or ATLEAST I hope they would not. Although what you sau is true about the new director... im even more worried now. I need to plan my vacation lol. but I guess that will wait. lol. none the less, let us know if anyone can get through on the phone. I still cant. :(

Hey everyone, I also applied to the ADN program. I didn't realize that they extended the deadline so long. I'm starting to get really anxious. I've tried calling but I just get the voicemail. I keep hoping that they will send out the emails soon. I wonder why they changed directors in the middle of an application period.

So I just called the school and was told that they are trying to get letters out this week but they are not sure if it will be this week,the lady said it would be no later than next week.
