Regis University ABSN Interview for Jan '12 Start

Hello,

I have been invited to an interview for the ABSN program on August 12th. I was wondering of those people who have interviewed what is the appropriate dress. Formal interview or business casual? I have an outfit I would like to wear but I am not too sure if for a Jesuit school it is too much...Black suit jacket and simple top with a cream colored (below the knee) skirt from ann taylor but it has black large giraffe print pattern on it. 258929_6600_gmd323x335.jpgover-weekend-i-did-little-shopping-and.html http://acstylefiles.blogspot.com/2011/06/over-weekend-i-did-little-shopping-and.html this link two skirts the one I got is on the left (but it falls past my knee). Sure is a wonderful question. I am also going to an interview for this year but mine is on Thursday :uhoh3: Last year they told us IN the email it was business casual. When I looked back through this years emails, I was surprised to find that nothing was mentioned. I would assume it was business casual but for my sake and others I probably will email the lady back and ask her just to make sure. She has always responded very quickly. So I will let you know what she says! Also. I started a thread in the CO school forum for people who have applied for the Regis program. You should come join the conversation!!

How was your interview? I had mine on June 29th... It has been so hard to wait and still a week away... In previous years someone mentioned being able to see online the results and not needing to wait for the letter in the mail. I wonder if that is still possible. Best of Luck!

Last year they had a different system and you could see you status online but they changed their ways so we get to wait until the snail mail makes it to our houses! I don't want to be patient any more! :)I had my interview on the 28th. Good luck to you!

Oh... That is too bad they "changed their ways" ;).... I 100% understand what you mean about not wanting to be patient anymore.... I am still working in a totally different industry and as time goes on it is becoming difficult to be focused in a career I desire to leave and be patient to start the future I want to go to. My boss is so patient as well and supportive, and all he wants is for me to let him know when I will be leaving with as much notice as possible. I just hope to not have to do the walk of shame to his desk to let him know I did not get in "again".... Well, it is what it is... I hope to see a post next Monday that you got in! Till then, deep breaths and the hope of good news!

OMGOODNESS!!!! I got an email saying that I got in!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YAHOOO!!!!!!! The email does say the paper acceptance was mailed on 8/18. I can't wait to see everyone on January 9th!!!!!!!!!!!!

That is so great! Congratulations! How did you get an email? I thought they were only going to send out paper notifications??

I thought only paper too, but I got an email with the title of Regis University Decision Letter (Paper copy mailed 8/18). I was very surprised when I got the email, but very excited too since in the mail I had not gotten my paper copy yet. Make sure to check the junk mail in case your email account sorted it there on accident. Also, it was not a mass email, so it might be taking time to send each email one by one, so keep on checking!
