Mansfield University in Pennsylvania

Nursing Students School Programs

Hi everyone!

Last week I applied for Mansfield University in Tioga County, Pennsylvania. I live 3 1/2 hours away from this campus in Mohrsville, Pennsylvania. I've seen this campus plenty of times due to the fact I have a hunting cabin in Potter County Pennsylvania, 30-40 minutes away from the Mansfield Campus and I pass it every time I go to my cabin. I applied for their BSN program and have read online that they have a 93% acceptance rate and there selectivity is a less selective campus making it easier to be accepted.

I'm just wondering if any of you guys went to this University and liked it? Or how many of you guys went right for your BSN first instead of achieving your Associates Degree in Nursing then doing a bridge program for your BSN? I'm very hopeful that I get accepted at this college as I'm 110% dedicated to giving this 4-year BSN program my all! The reason behind me going right for my BSN is because I want to become a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists, and I feel as if its easier to go right for my BSN then waste time and money getting my ASN just to spend more money on a accelerated bridge program. Also, after I get my BSN I will probably do the accelerated bridge program for my MSN. Any tips, tricks, or advice in my future nursing school plans? All comments, positive, negative, or just simply good-luck comments are appreciated, thank you!!!
