LACCD ADN program hopefuls

Nursing Students School Programs

Howdy y'all!

As we all know, admission into nursing schools is competitive. I also know that we're all curious about our competition. I thought I'd get a thread started specifically for hopefuls in the Southern California, Los Angeles area, who wish to get an associates degree in nursing from a community college in the LACCD district. We can use this forum to talk about the classes we're taking, the schools we plan to apply to, our stats, when we are applying, etc.

About me: I'm currently taking microbiology, physiology, art history and math 115 (remedial math). I have a 3.0 GPA, not including the science classes I'm currently taking. I plan on applying to mostly every community college that has an associates nursing program in the la area, and I plan on applying for Fall 2017. I have yet to take stats and chemistry also.

What about you guys? Stats, date applying, which classes do you find particularly challenging?
