Howard COMMUNITY COLLEGE ACCELERATED 2018

Nursing Students School Programs

Published

Hello,

I'm fairly new to Maryland and Ive recently applied to HCC accelerated nursing program and traditional. All my paperwork is in except for my HESI A2; I have to wait till 2/8 to take it due to no spots available. Anyone with any reviews, experiences, or in the same boat as me? I'm super nervous about this whole process.

Yes, to claiming our spots in the program from now. Thank you Kiyah, I like your way of thinking. I will definitely post about the exam and any news from the school. By the way, Great score on you hesi!!!

Heyyy! How did your exam go today!!! Hopefully they start sending out acceptance letters tomorrow lol well at least by Monday

It went well, I got a 81.7 so in the clear. When I got to the campus I saw the nursing students rushing to class in their white uniforms. I can not wait to get a letter! I will be stalking the mailbox.

That's awesome!! I pray we both get in and will be meeting each other at orientation!! I will be stalking the mailbox as well! I really think we will hear by next week! I'm so anxious but all we can do is wait now! I'm trying to have patience...

I'm hoping we hear something this week

I got my acceptance letter today!!! You should be hearing soon because I live on the borderline of D.C.

Yayyyy!!! Congrats!!!! I know you are super excited!! Hopefully I receive mine today or at least by tomorrow!!

I'm still in shock, I can't believe it. It's a huge envelope, you won't miss it!

Awwww!! That's so exciting!!! I would be in shock too! But believe it girllll! Soon you will be at orientation and getting ready for the summer session! Yayyyy!

I was put on the waitlist :( due to my residency status and not enough seats. I'm sad but all I can do is trust the process.

Stay positive, I've seen from previous post some reject their offers. Yes, trust the process. I finished my pre reqs in 2016 and I'm finally getting into a program. Did you apply to the traditional program as well?

Yes, I applied to the traditional program too. I just didn't want to do the program for two years but like you said, I'm going to stay positive and whatever happens is meant to happen.
