Hey guys

I've decided to put my eggs in two baskets for the upcoming spring 2018 semester. The first school being UTH and the second being MWSU in Wichita Falls. I haven't seen any other posts for MWSU so I decided to start this one. I have already applied to both schools. The deadline for mwsu is August 15 2017. Here are my stats

Overall GPA: 3.06

Hesi score breakdown

Math: 96

Reading Comprehension: 88

Grammar: 92

Vocabulary: 92

Overall Score: 92

Hopefully we can root for the chances of us getting in together among other things

Hey there! This is my first post. I just just applied to MWSU for Spring 18 admissions as well. I'm currently in Alaska and also applying to UAA up here but the timeline to start isn't fall 2018 at the earliest (if accepted). I've been all over this site trying to find some current threads about MWSU. However, most of them seem to be from a few years ago which is helpful, but limited.

How did you find Midwestern from Alaska? I wonder how long it will take for us to find out since the deadline was on Tuesday. Did you apply as a transfer student already? If you did and got your answer/letter how long did it take?

My wife (AD USAF) is from Wichita Falls and pointed me in their direction. I have applied as a transfer student but have not received notice of acceptance for general admissions yet. I was told that as long as I have an application pending, that the WSON application would be considered.

As far as the WSON application, I was told they will start reviewing them mid sept. I was able to find their guidance on ranking/points by googling it and came up with around 56 points. Im not sure how competitive that will be but im looking forward to a decision.

I got my acceptance email this passed friday. I now have a whole list of items to accomplish. I would assume the waitlist folks should be hearing something soon as aceeptance replies are due by 27 oct. Anyone else on receive their letters (emails) yet?

I'm not sure if this was meant for me but i had an overall gpa of 3.42. Prereqs were a 3.41. I've read 9n this forum in a few places that spring admissions is less competitive due to less submissions but i don't really know. Good luck!
