Gateway CC LPN Cohort Fall 2016

Hey All,

I thought I'd create a thread for future LPN applicants awaiting admission for, hopefully, the Fall 2016 cohort.

I was hoping for a lucky spring 2016 spot, but oh well..., so here's to hoping for this fall.

I finished a nursing assistant course at Paradise Valley Community College and submitted my PN application on 12/7/2015. So I thought others can share their "patience" on here like me.

Hello! Congrats on all that made it to the fall cohort!! Anyone here that will be in the evening cohort? I had preferred day but got placed in the evening instead, but after all it will workout better for me.

Hi what does your day schedule look like, that was my preferred one but got offered the evening. Wondering if I still have a chance in switching if one seat becomes available.

I'm not sure. Did you contact nursing advisement or the director of admissions?

We just had orientation yesterday for both day and night cohorts. It was a lengthy 3 hours of basically going over the nursing handbook and mentioning other "hidden" fees needed before we could all start class next week. There was a lot and it was somewhat overwhelming the amount of information given but I'm optimistic!

Yeah, I just got them today. I went with the print and the ebook since I work best with the physical copy in front of me. My roommate seems to think that I can just torrent the ebook somewhere thought.

I will have to get mine Monday morning, I'm still waiting for book advance. I will also get the hard copy it's always best to have it handy.

Hello and congrats to all that were accepted to the fall cohort..I will be applying soon with hopes of getting into the fall 2017 cohort and was wondering if anyone in the current cohort would share what the schedules for the day and evening programs are like.. TIA

How many of those that got an email asking which placement they'd prefer (day or nights) got an acceptance letter after ??

Hi! just wondering what the schedule for morning cohort was... would you kindly share with me times and days of the week including sim/clinical and lab. Currently in evening but want to see what it looks like so I can put in a request if a seat becomes available for 2nd block. Thank you!

Tuesday Thursday 10-430 a few Friday's 8-4 clinical Monday 615-730p
