Hey All,
I thought I'd create a thread for future LPN applicants awaiting admission for, hopefully, the Fall 2016 cohort.
I was hoping for a lucky spring 2016 spot, but oh well..., so here's to hoping for this fall.
I finished a nursing assistant course at Paradise Valley Community College and submitted my PN application on 12/7/2015. So I thought others can share their "patience" on here like me.
Congrats to all who were accepted for the spring! I can't believe it's been almost a year since I made this thread. I'm thrilled and appreciative of all those who've stopped in to comment about their experiences!
For block one I was in the day cohort and was placed in a Sunday clinical. They'll last about 8 weeks and go usually for roughly 12 hours depending on your preceptor. If you get Jennifer Dorn, you'll have the best experience! Others in my class had clinicals days on Mondays or Fridays. It just depends. After that, you'll spend two more clinical days at the lower buckeye jail! I'll just say that it was an entirely different experience from the SNFs. Adrien and Linda are really great and you'll learn so much from them!
We start block two this Tuesday on the 10th!! I'm excited because we get to experience the hospital setting in this block!
Good luck to all those who made it this round! You'll love it!
Hey I got into the spring program of 2017. I am paying for it all with cash and was wondering if anyone would be kind enough to let me use your ebook codes for school for the ones who bought paper books. I am willing to even pay. I have about 150 on me now but I just cant afford the ebooks at this time.
