Nursing Students School Programs

Published

I am currently a pre-nursing student in California. I'm taking classes at Moorpark College. It was ranked as the 4th best cc in the nation. I am trying to get into a nursing program. Either located in Las Vegas Nevada. Such as Nevada State College. Nursing colleges located in New York. I have been looking at New York University I know if you have the money they pretty much accept you. I would like to avoid the 40,000 a year. I have the money to pay it and kind of feel like maybe I just should avoid the ******** with waiting on a potential application that might get accepted. I'm pre-med but chose to go into nursing because it's the closest major I feel that represents the actual study of medicine. I was looking at Lehman College as well. NYU has a 35.6 acceptance rate and Lehman has a 28.6 percent acceptance rate. I care a lot about the name of the school. I would also like some stats on Chicago schools, schools in Massachusetts, as well as Miami Florida. California I know is usually a 3.7-3.8. But I need as much criticism as I can get. It's tough to get into theses programs, and I need to know the numbers. So anybody with any experience in getting into any of theses programs in these states would be much appreciated. This is for the bachelor's of science in nursing. I currently have a 3.66 average cumulative grade point average and a 4.0 in the science pre-requisites. I am planning on taking the HESI And the Teas Test later in the upcoming months.
