Nursing Students School Programs

Hey guys! Wanted to start a thread for those applying for Fall of 2017 at Bristol Community College! What other programs are you applying too? Traditional or eHealth? GPA and points? Can't wait to hear about everybody else. I've read all of the other years threads and I must say I'm so happy to finally be able to be involved in one! So excited for everybody! Can't wait to hear from you.

Congrats, looks like your in great shape! Is this your first time applying?

Hello All,

I too applied for the 2017 program. I was waitlisted last year so fingers crossed I get in this time around. Good luck to all!! I'm so anxious for February to arrive and to hopefully hear something.

Aw goodluck hun! I'll keep my fingers crossed for you. If you were waitlisted previously they hopefully make you a priority this time around so I wouldn't worry too much! What was your GPA last time around if you don't mind me asking

Congrats, looks like your in great shape! Is this your first time applying?

Yes it is! I'm getting so impatient already 😭

Thanks, my GPA is 3.5 overall, but I received a 4.0 for the last 4 terms, I've been attending BCC part time since 2008. I'm praying that this doesn't hurt me, my GPA that is. I have faith that I'll get in this time around. I have all the classes needed in the program , and received A's in all of them. í ½í¹í ¼í¿½í ½í¹í ¼í¿½í ½í¹í ¼í¿½

Congrats about Brockton!

Does anyone know how the schedule is for eHealth? I work full-time and have to keep my job to pay my mortgage, but I really want to get my nursing degree done!

My friend was enrolled in ehealth at bcc and other than clinical and exams everything was done online! It is very convenient for the working students. I have another friend who is currently in her second semester in traditional nursing and she has worked full time the entire time. She goes to class every Monday and then she goes to clinical once a week for 12 hour shifts. So depending on your job it might work!

Hey Emily, I think BCC is 5 or 7 years... You might want to ask the admissions person who did the info sessions.

Hey Biacoponi, TBH they give priority to students who have completed all the core classes such as: high school chem, English's, The sciences, math pre-req, psych, the history class, and the electives.

But don't be discouraged because you never know!

But in the mean time, you should take some more classes that will help you out in the program like:

other psych classes, pharmacology, sociology, medical terminology, etc.

Keep your fingers crossed and good luck!

Has anybody heard any updates or anything?? I'm going crazy waiting!! í ½í¹„ i really hope we get to find out soon. I'm checking my degree works everyday lol this can't be healthy!!!
