Hi to everyone reading! I have read the posts from a few years ago for AVC RN programs.

I wanted to know if anyone has come current information. I wanted to know the current wait list time, class acceptance size, program weekly schedule details, how many days of the week are lecture and clinicals.

I have been an LVN for 7.5 years, but been out of nursing for 2.5 years due to being stationed in Japan since January 2012. I should only need Ethics, Psychology, and Microbiology.

Also, because I have been away from nursing and out of school for so long, I want to be in the general RN program, as a "refresher".

I am a little confused as to applying to the school, nursing program and taking the TEAS. Get accepted to the school....then I can take the TEAS? Based on wait list time, I should have time to study? I am assuming...some guidance is needed. Thanks!

I will be stationed in China Lake NAWS starting January 2015 and plan to finish up my prereqs that summer, as I move from Japan too late for Spring Semester.

It really sucks that there is only one school with an RN program within a "reasonable" distance.
