OSU OKC Spring 2014

U.S.A. Oklahoma

I wanted to start this thread for all of the OSU OKC Spring 2014 applicants. I turned in my application yesterday and I can not wait for letters to go out! I am new to allnurses (but not to OSU OKC) and was hoping to share some of my excitement and anticipation with some other OSU OKC Spring 2014 hopefuls!

She said she would give the CPR cards to the nursing department. I left a voicemail there today and I am waiting to see if the have arrived yet. [COLOR=#003366]Jloruse ,It would not let me respond to your message so I had to post it on here.

The cpr cards are in! So, I was also accepted into the nursing program, I am pretty sure I was in cpr class with some of you!

They messed up my cpr card, but I'm not worried about it. They know I went. I got enrolled last week. Do you all know if we have to wait until orientation to find out if we are in Lab 1 or Lab 2? I wanted to know which day I would have clinicals.

I got enrolled yesterday and two of the days says TBA. I think we might find out at orientation.

Finally got enrolled. Does anyone know if there's a choice involved in the labs, or are we assigned?

Also, I hate the scrub tops. There's no room for boobs...probably because they are unisex. Ugh.

I bought all my nursing books new on Amazon for just around $425...Everything was on there and some of the books come with Ebooks. Way cheaper than the book store! Now, I just have to buy uniform stuff...

AChristner,

I got everything on Amazon, too. They were so much cheaper - there was a $30 savings on just one of the books (Fundamentals)! All of them were cheaper, except for one, which was the same price. Plus, no tax, which also saved $$.

I understand that some may need to wait for financial aid, but if you don't, it's definitely cheaper on Amazon.

I'm excited to meet everybody in January!

Do you all know we are either in Lab 1 or Lab 2 or if we do both labs?

I think we will find that out at orientation.

That's what I figured, I was just hoping to know ahead of time.

I can't wait to meet all of you tomorrow!

I have a friend/coworker a semester ahead of us. He said there will be two different lab days to choose from and we will pick/be assigned to one at orientation.
