Did anyone apply for RSU fall 2009 program?

Hi, I have applied for the fall 2009 nursing program at RSU. Anyone else? If anyone is intersested there is no wait list at RSU. They require prereqs and those are the grades they look at to rank you and the top 75 are in.

Im hoping Im in. Im off to search for threads on RSU.

there are 5 pre-reqs that are used to determine entry.

general cell biology (tcc): a

freshman comp. i (tcc): b

the college experience (rsu): c (owe)

dosage calculation (rsu, i took this twice, 1st got a c, 2nd got an a, they only look at the last attempt): a

a and p: took classes separately. i was told this would help my ranking (thats not why i did it that way):

physiology (tcc): a

anatomy (rsu): a

i'm am so full of hope and expectation!!! i know there has got to be some more rsuers out there!

I'm taking online classes for RSU this summer and then starting all my pre-reqs in the fall and then going to apply for 2010 Fall (UGH sounds so far away!!) I lived in Texas, and they had different Pre-reqs, I've been out of school for a year...so I feel really out of it. haha...let me know how it goes for ya'll!! I'm really nervous about it but hope all my classes go smoothly..

When I was looking into RSU I couldn't find anything about it on here! It was frustrating...my RSU post had no replies :(

Ive been going to RSU for awhile working on a different degree. I like it there and I am way excited about the nursing classes. We can stay in touch if you like and Ill let you know how it goes. Ill help if I can. :)

haven't applied yet...but taking the pre-reqs! Was hoping to get into the summer semester, but transcripts haven't all arrived yet (Damn). Looks like I get the summer off to regroup and prepare for the Fall.

I also got in for this fall!!! How did you like orientation? I think it went well but I think it made me more nervous.

i'm nervous too but waay excited. i feel bad for the people who were there as alternates. can you imagine going through all the steps to get your stuff in order for the fall and then not even get in? i am so glad that i'm in and don't have to deal with that stress. the teachers seem like they have an awesome since of humor. the pressure is going to be intense to keep those grades up but what an amazing opportunity we have! i did not recognize one person though! its going to be fun to get to know everyone. :D

I agree, they definately broke the ice with some humor. I saw several people I recognized from my pre-req classes and I know one of them has the same schedule as I do. Well if you would like to talk more or if you would like to see if we will be having any classes together feel free to email me
