I'm currently working in Akron as an STNA and going to school full-time. I'm just wondering if anyone has gone to NIT (national institute of technology) in Cuyahoga Falls for either the LPN or RN program. Did you like it there? Has anyone gone anywhere else they would recommend? I've been at UA for almost 4 years and need to take a different route. I just really don't want to be disappointed/lied to again ******-off.png

Does anyone know about the LPN program at Portage Lakes Career Center. I visited their website but wondered if anyone had firsthand knowledge about the school. Thanks.

I wasn't aware that most schools had waiting lists!! The BSN programs don't have wait lists and Columbus State Community College and Tri-C do not have wait lists either. Especially at Tri-C the prerequisites were very easy - only 1 science class.

i go to Boheckers Business College which is part of RETS school of nursing, which is also associated with NIT. I absolutly love the program at Boheckers becuase they really go above adn beyond in prepping you for the NCLEX. The instructors are great also. These programs which are accelerated are not for the faint of heart though.....they really bust your buns!

How do you get it done that fast? My ADN program is not accelerated and it is only part-time 4 semesters, but I haven't started so I cannot speak to the intensity. It is Tri-C. I just can't imagine getting all the clinicals done in less than 4 semesters!!

I start April 26th at Nit how are the class sizes, and how long did it take you to finish the hesi?
