Cleveland State University Accelerated BSN Spring 2015

U.S.A. Ohio

Hi Everyone!

I started this post to see if anyone else is applying or have been accepted to CSU ABSN program for spring 2015. I have an interview coming up and I'm little nervous. For anyone that got accepted, How was the interview and Essay? I look on their website and I couldn't find anything on Tuition. What is the total for the Entire Program?

Thanks :)

I got accepted too!

Is anyone moving from out of state?

@bwise7

I will be moving from out of state if I get accepted. Where are you moving from?

I am moving from Chicago.

I will be moving from Florida.

Lakewood is safe but stay away from the Cleveland-Lakewood border. Parma is also safe but a little farther away than Lakewood. Check out Rocky River, Fairview Park.

I was also accepted a few weeks ago, I look forward to meeting everyone!

Why did so many people drop out? Do you think that it wasn't what they expected? Like, maybe they just didn't have enough time to put into it because of other obligations, like money?

Also, I am curious about where to live too. I am about an hour away from Cleveland, so I have to move closer. I was considering living in an on campus apartment or dorm.

One person was kicked out, others dropped down to the basic program because it was too fast for them. Some realized that nursing wasn't for them after a few weeks of lecture and lab. It really depends. I'm sure for some money was an issue or some may have had family issues.

For living there are apartments right across from campus, such as The Langston. There are also plenty of apartment buildings in the downtown area. You also have Lakewood and Rocky River apartment buildings which are close to downtown (10-20 min drive depending on location).

This is a question for Ouxphys ... So we sent a mail with the consent form already... Now when is the next time we will hear from them...? This whole communicating through mail is so outdated I think...

And is living in an apartment near the healthline safe?

Did you go online and print out the packet of paper about our vaccines and scrub ordering & stuff?? That might keep us busy for a while lol

It was around November when I heard from them after getting accepted and it was about scheduling classes for spring and summer semester. Where along the healthline were you looking to live?

As for the uniforms they make you buy they are horrible, especially the ones they make the guys buy (me). After my first two med surg clinicals I bought my own.
