Uterine lipoma

Have any of you heard of or had a patient with a lipoma in the uterus? The reason I ask is I had a hysterectomy last month. They originally thought I had a fibroid, but pathology stated it was a fatty tumor called a lipomatous. From what I have been reading it appears to be rare.

Since you have already founds some information, you really need to go back to your treating physician to discuss how this finding relates to your particular health situation.
