Can anyone give me some ideas of what nurses intervention I can use please. I have just started my nursing degree and feel so overwhelmed by everything at the moment its confusing.

Specializes in Advanced Practice, surgery.

Do you mean biopsychosocial?

I think you do. Take a look at what that means, think about a wholistic approach to care and how something like mood for example can impact on physical health.

I don't really want to be giving you all the answers, nursing is about looking through information and picking our what's important so have a go.

Does that help?

do your professors have office hours? if so, utilize them. Not only do you get the right answers the way they want you to understand them, but students who make the extra effort to go to office hours make a good impression with the professors in regards to dedication and professionalism

I think they are getting at Medical research based approaches to mental health care, such as the use of PET, MRI scans, chemicals present and in what amounts, like dopamine, serotonin nor-epinephrine etc., and genes and DNA analysis. Its a newer field of psychology due to the advent of technology.

Yes that what I meant. Sorry, and yes I have read up loads about this so got more of an idea now of what their asking thank you for your comment.
