by xamanii Feb 22Hi Guys,
I am currently a second year student nurse in the UK , studying children's nursing. I am really confused as to what options are available for when I graduate and I am qualified to work.
I want to be more than just a band 5 nurse in the hospital, I would do that for a few years to gain experience but I would like to know what more is on offer for children's nurses. I like the idea of practice nurse, however it seems to be very limited in the childrens field.
Any ideas anyone has please let me know. I want to be able to get more out of being a nurse and helping people!

And of course there are nursing specialties within peds too, I've worked in pediatric oncology and liver transplant, both of which were challenging and rewarding. -
