Can anyone help me with this question please!!!??? Appreciate your help!!!

The main difference between droplet transmission and airborne transmission is:

Select one:

a. Airborne are more virulent.

b. Droplet are more virulent.

c. The distance that particles travel.

Specializes in Gerontology RN-BC and FNP MSN student.

What is the difference between the two? Do you have an idea?

The only difference I know between the two is their sizes....

Specializes in MICU.

the size and the distance.

distance: according to EBP, you can put two droplet patients in the sane room as far as they are 3 feet away but for Airborne, you cant because they traveled as far as they want to thats why they have airborne patients always have their own private (strict isolation) room (no cohort ever)

I hope this helps. so the answer is C abd they are both virulent
