surviving school without study partners

I'm returning to school after many years and after my first year I find myself without study buddies. I tried to hook up several times with several different groups or individuals but they either lived too far or already had their 'buddies' from previous classes. I feel like a fish out of water and this time around school is no fun, especially since it is so stressful, competitive and difficult! Any other 'loners' out there who survived on their own? This site is SO helpful!

I study alone. but i have to bacause im going to school online. it seems to be hard at times but i get to do the work on my own time. i have no one telling me to hurry up. well i take that back my kids need me almost all the time but after the go to bed i go do my school work

I alway study alone too. Fro me it is easier to get it done. you dont have alot of people to stop you and ask different questions. well you got to look at it this way if you are teaching some one your not leaving your salf behind because you learn off of what you teach. thats how i look at it.

I can't study with study partners, or groups. I find that I never get anything done.

I study much better alone. I attempted studying with some friends last semester, and it went nowhere. All that went on was chit chat about social activities, and discussions non-related to school.

I say study alone, it works wonders for me.

Aside from some quick test reviews- I was never part of a study group. I just never got much out of them.

I never got much out of them either. if i studied in a group in never got anything done. i was always talking to friends. and plus always got the wrong answers. if t study by my self i gto the answres right over half teh time
