Nursing Students Student Assist

Published

I was wanting to see if anyone has any good ways to study for this class. I have heard so many things about it, and I got stupid enough to sign up for a summer semester of only 5 weeks. :chair: I know I need to take it alone, and I have too many classes to take it alone in a regular semester.

I have heard flashcards are a neccesity, but I am wanting to see if anyone else has any more ideas.

Thanks!!!

I was actually going to tell you flashcards, until I saw you typed that!

Flash cards are def. the way to go. I found writing them for me helped me better then cutting and pasting, and then printing (how some of my classmates did flash cards). Then just carry them around with you and study!

If you are stuck waiting for a train to pass, pull out the flash cards. On commercials, pull out the flash cards. I did mine by putting the name of the drug on the front, the on the back I had the class, side effects, what the drug does, normal dosage range, and any other important information.

a 5 week class might not be all that bad. As long as you can focus all of your attention on that class, you'll do fine. It will be easier to study for one course then it will be to study for several at once. Just be prepared to put a lot of effort into it. Its a hard course, and its a short time frame you are taking it in, but as long as you want to learn and succeed in the course, you'll do fine.

Good luck :)
