Do children with acquired and congenital defects have to worry about endocarditis for the rest of their lives and how does the nurse teach the parents to prevent it.

they are both (a) so incredibly knowledgeable, and (b) so willing to post thorough and detailed answers.

And they're both soooo much nicer than some of the grumpier members... like me.

I dunno, I can be pretty grumpy sometimes. So I'm human. :) But Esme does her best to keep me in line. :redpinkhe:

I do try to remember what it was like to be a clueless newbie, and give the ones here the tools they need to strengthen their practices, including, sometimes, a different perspective.

Note the very clear difference between this and giving them the answers to which so many feel entitled without (apparently) expending any personal effort.
